Now- it's also therapeutic for some to shop today. It's a chance to get all shopping done so you can enjoy December in relaxation. Or a chance to save money.
I get it.
But it's also so easy to get caught up. Just remember:
🎁Stick to your list. Simple example--I get my kids 4 gifts (want, wear, read, need, and a shared Santa gift) +stocking stuffers.
🎁Remember how feel the other 364 days of the year ("I want to minimize!", "where did all this stuff come from?!", "what do we really need...?" "I wish we were debt free")
🎁Don't be hard on yourself. Enjoy your day. Just play it out. Will you enjoy your day today and still feel good tomorrow?
🎁Bonus tip! Remember to shop local and antique stores for gifts! Great prices and still tends to give you that minimalist feel of recycling/directly helping someone in your community/the energy of that antique store gift still sticks around year after year ;) or that Gift Card you bought someone will continue throughout the year (hint hint Gift Certificates now available Buy 1 Gift 1 free! 😉)
