I want you to know that when I pick a topic for the day I ask my spirit guides to guide the topic and I muscle test with my own heart and use my own intuition to choose and that is the topic today-Turning down the noise of the world and listening to your own intuition.
I learned this a year ago this week actually. I was getting ready to cook a dinner for family and as I flipped through numerous cookbooks and Pinterest pages and became more and more overwhelmed (as I did when I grocery shop and often left in tears and with my stomach in knots!). Not because there are so many choices and I couldn't pick... But because the noise of the world left me with z e r o choices.
Gluten free, dairy free, sugar free, Paleo. I was told one kid needed Gaps while the rest of the family were adults on no diet and wanted roast, potatoes and rolls like a normal family on a Sunday after church. I couldn't possibly make a dessert unless it was somehow sugar and flour free and still tasted good.... Jello? Nope, not unless it was gelatin free. I guess I could go to a few different stores and get gelatin free Jello, then hop over here and get gluten free rolls...but wait, homemade is better... Where do I get gluten free flour? Is cane sugar ok?? Now it's getting expensive and I have 2 hrs to get this ready & I'm in tears because.. All I wanted was to enjoy my daughter's Blessing day.
When this realization hit I was holding my Grandma's cookbook with all her tried and true recipes. I literally heard her voice say "Jenna, stop. Think- what did your grandparents and Greats grow up eating? Your grandpa is 91 years old and he lived off of his garden and home cooking. Live by this new mantra-" If it's good enough for Grandma, it's good enough for me". And suddenly a weight dropped. When I have the choice of gluten free I take it. Or #einkhornflour, #boron, eat fresh produce, or better yet- from my own garden! I ask myself "can I make this from scratch?" if I can then I do. I take care of my body daily in numerous ways.

I have drove myself insane listening to the noise about my OWN children. But when I learned to go within and listen, I always find the perfect answer.
Get educated, sure! Please! But the second you feel that overwhelm, that knot in your stomach, being pulled this way or that inside your head, or that brow furrow??! Turn off the noise and go within.
~Your intuition is never wrong. It is guided. Pray for it. Practice honoring it~
