Today's tip and topic is one of my favorite! Bone Broth! Or "Nature's Multivitamin" Ever wonder why chicken soup is considered "good for the soul" or the first thing your mother, grandmother or even Dr grabs for when sick (especially this time of season) ?! Because it truly nourishes from the brain to your gut, muscles to ligaments!! This nutrient dense, easy to digest, full of favor, Immune boosting drink is just the remedy you're looking for if you want to treat: Leaky gut syndrome Improve joint health Boost immune system Eliminate food allergies and intolerances Gentle detoxing Improve skin tone, elasticity, and health And more! Bone broth is made by simmering all the bones and ligaments from chicken, beef, lamb, etc. (I feel so efficient when I can find a way to use everything!) and in doing so releasing healing compounds like collagen, trace minerals, gelatin, amino acids. Minerals and vitamins that are easy to digest such as calcium, Magnesium, phosphorus, silicon, Sulphur and those excellent (but sometimes $$) for inflammation and arthritis like glucosamine! Let's take a look at just TWO of the wonderful components - Gelatin and Collagen. Gelatin - helps cushion bones and "glide" rather than cause friction with each other. Restores the strength of the guts lining Collagen - helps restore cartilage, elastin (hello, no cellulite!), IBS and Crohns Today we are exposed to so many toxins, pesticides, GMO, and chemicals. Bone broth helps aid in your body's natural detoxification processes with potassium and glycine which support liver detox How can I get this wonderful remedy?!? You can make it yourself! Overwhelming?? You CAN buy it, just make sure it's organic, and whole! (Lee's carries one I like) Tips - I do like to add veggies to mine for more flavor and more nutrients! I suggest drinking (or cooking with, etc) 8oz 1-2 times a day (8oz isn't that much!) Remember this is perfect for everyone! What a great way to get amazing nutrients into your kids without having to get a vitamin down them! Click button below for a great recipe from @draxe
