I thought it would be so fun to add a recipe to today's post! I tried this at a wedding reception and was instantly intrigued. Vegan, quick and incredibly healthy ingredients! With the added ACV and Bubbies and kelp I was immediately sold. Bonus : if you're #seedcycling, great for second half of cycle. It was freely given to me, so I freely give to you, my friends! Sunflower Ranch Dressing 1 Cup raw sunflower seeds (soaked for 6-8 hours) 1 3/4 Cups filtered water (add water to desired consistency – I started with 3/4 Cup) 1/2 Cup raw sesame, sunflower, or olive oil (or combination) 1/4 Cup Bubbies sauerkraut juice or 2 Tbsp lemon juice 3 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar (Braggs) 1-2 Garlic cloves 1 Tbsp onion powder or 2 Tbsp onion granules 2-3 tsp sea salt, to taste 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp dried dill or 1 small handful of fresh dill 1 heaping tsp dried sweet basil a few shakes of kelp granules or powder, optional 1-2 tsp honey, to taste, optional 1/4 Cup fresh or 1 Tbsp dried parsley Blend everything but parsley in high speed blender. Add water and salt to desired consistency / flavor. For a sweeter ranch, add 1-2 tsp honey. Blend again. Gently pulse in parsley to the final dressing, just to incorporate. After refrigeration and before serving, stir to incorporate water again. Keeps for 2 weeks.
