#WellnessWednesday
I'm so excited for today's post. I was actually in the middle of writing a different post on a different food and just didn't feel like it was meant for today. After asking what was meant for today- I knew the new topic right away. Today's tip and topic is on Seed Cycling. I am fairly new to seed cycling but it had such an impact on my life and health that it is a solution I reach for for myself, family, friends and clients often now. And a topic of regular conversation. What is Seed Cycling?? Basically- Seed cycling integrates different seeds into the diet at different times in the menstrual cycle to support optimal hormonal balance (Jesswein, 2012) The idea is that seeds carry certain oils, vitamins, and nutrients that can help support the body’s production, release, and metabolism of hormones. (herbal academy) I included the graphic of a seed schedule to make it easy for you to remember. What I did was put these seeds (individually) in my coffee grinder and just scoop out a Tablespoon. If you are working on getting pregnant- Keep taking the progesterone seeds until you start your period or know you're pregnant. If you are pregnant- You can keep taking the progesterone seeds (even boosting it up to 1-2 T)! You can also add in a T of the estrogen for a good balance throughout the remainder of pregnancy. You might notice less cramping in early pregnancy! :) If you do not have regular cycles- You will start at the beginning of the week with 1-14 seeds, at the end of 14 days, start the 14-28 seeds then start again. Keep on this schedule. If you have PMS symptoms- keep on this schedule for a few months and watch symptoms become better! (also, let's talk hormone balance with food as well!) I hope that you decide to give #seedcycling a try! #seedcycle #harnessthepowerofthemoon #womenscycles #itworks #foodismedicine #amazingseeds #simple #holistichealthcoaching #thehealerinyouutah #letsworktogether #womenunite #powerofourcycles

I love adding a little mint (and cucumber) in it too to make it such a perfect summer drink 🌞 Full of gut friendly bacteria and soul hugging benefits, you will make this again and again. Super easy! Especially if you're already making yogurt and make your own whey!! Put it to good use! I get my recipe from @helloglowblog Enjoy! #probiotics #gutbekind #loveyourgut #whey #yogurt #guthealth |
