Beware of pride. Revelation

I remember when I heard this for the first time, it was one of those quotes that hit you and stick with you.
I heard it again this morning as I was striving toward bringing a peaceful, light, spirit into my home.
It is so easy to get distracted, and have (and even invite) dangers enter our lives and make it hard to feel spiritual. ".. there may be times when you feel as though the heavens are closed. But I promise that as you continue to be obedient, expressing gratitude for every blessing the Lord gives you, and as you patiently honor the Lord’s timetable, you will be given the knowledge and understanding you seek. These quotes say it all. Everytime I think I can do it myself.. In motherhood, recovery, and in life in general... I'm am reminded again and again.. That I am not in charge and CANNOT (nor do I want to) do it alone.

I'm grateful for this reminder. It is life saving and truly sustaining!
